& Roses natural levain rye breads are made from freshly ground organic
whole grains milled in my own stone mill just before mixing to minimize
oxidation and nutrient loss. Nothing is added or taken away. I hope
you will enjoy the ‘fruits’ of my labor.

am a Graduate of the San Francisco Baking Institute & the Culinary
Institute of America-Napa Valley: Traditional Rye, Whole-Grain Breads
and Artisan I & II, and Italian Bread. I am also a Member of Bread
Bakers Guild of America. My instructor at SFBI was a member of the winning
U.S. team at the Coupe du Monde de la Boulangerie, the ‘bread
olympics’ in Paris, April 2005.
